Imaginations

Jana and Caden are becoming really close. They love each other so much. I had to blog about this incident that happened the other day. They have big imaginations...it's so fun. They were pretending they were dribbling a pretend basketball. They were passing their imaginary ball back and forth. Caden started dribbling the imaginary ball in place when Jana came and stole it. She ran off with it and he started screaming and ran back and grabbed it from her. Then she began to cry and ran and grabbed it back. He fell to the ground screaming "Jana give it back". I couldn't help but laugh. Seriously they were fighting over an imaginary ball. It was so great! I finally went and grabbed an other imaginary ball and gave it to Caden. That solved it. They both had a imaginary ball to bounce. WOW...I love being a mom!

Finally Corbin lost a tooth!

Corbin finally lost his tooth! He is 7 years old and all of his friends have been losing their teeth. He has waited and waited. Finally a few weeks ago he felt a loose tooth. He has been begging Shay for the past 2 weeks to pull out his loose tooth. Shay would try and try but the tooth just wasn't ready. Corbin was devastated each time. On Dec. 27th Shay was able to pull it out! Corbin is a whole new man now. The coolest kid in class...lol.

Bring on the New Year!

We had our own little celebration on New Year's Eve. We had a blast playing Mario Kart Wii. We watched the Ball drop (at 10:00...lol) and let off our confetti and blew our noise makers. The kids loved it. Shay and I put them to bed and went out and grabbed a shake. We came home and watched a movie. It was a nice night. Orion spent it in Arizona with friends. He had a great time down there visiting with family and friends. We missed him.

It's a new year...time for goals! We are making some healthier choices in each area of our lives. Physically, spiritually and emotionally. We have already taken big steps and I am so pleased with our progress so far. The kids are working just as hard as we are. I love a fresh start!

Christmas 2011!

Corbin did a great job singing at his Christmas concert. I was really surprised to see that the teacher talked him into wearing the antlers and red nose. He is just "way too cool" for things like that now.

On Christmas Eve we decorated Christmas cookies for Santa, went to the movie Aurther's Christmas, watched a movie about our Savior's birth and drove around and looked at Christmas lights in our new pajamas that magically appeared on our doorstep every Christmas eve... It was such a fun day!

I told Orion i needed a picture before he could eat the cookies so here he is waiting patiently for me to take the picture...lol.

Jana was so proper and used her knife to decorate her cookies. Her brothers were just the opposite and used their fingers while licking the frosting every now and then.

We tracked Santa most of the evening. The kids went to bed as soon as he hit Canada. Shay and I stayed up and watched A Christmas Story. Love that movie!

Shay couldn't sleep all night. He got up at 4 am and waited. He finally started making breakfast at 5:30am which woke up Corbin. Next was Orion and Titan. Our bedroom is downstairs so they all started stomping to wake me up at 5:45! Poor Jana was so tired. Caden didn't want to get up so we took one of his presents down to him to lure him to the tree. It worked! We were all sitting by the tree by 6am!

We drew names this year. Titan drew Caden's name and gave him this Joker castle. Caden loved it! Caden got batman toys from Santa, a remote control car, play dough sets, Super hero sets, marshmallow gun and more! He loved it! ( he is not naked...but close! He doesn't like the feeling of clothes so he runs around in his undies all day...BURRR!)

Jana kept asking me with each present if it was ok to open it...lol. Even though her daddy said it was ok she would still look at me to make sure. She got a dollhouse and baby doll from Santa, a baby alive doll, pink dress, a few more baby dolls and princess dolls and from her daddy ( he drew her name) she got a jewelry box, a beautiful picture, and princess dress up stuff...she loved it!

This is the picture that Shay got Jana for her room. The little girl in the picture looks a lot like Jana. It's a beautiful picture and brings tears to my eyes when I look at it. Shay is so sweet!

Corbin had a blast Christmas morning! Orion drew his name. Orion got him some legos, a Nerf sword and a Nerf axe. He got a 3D ds and spy stuff from Santa, soccer ball and a wii soccer game, army men set, Nerf guns, marshmallow guns, walkie talkies, signed up for a soccer team, and some board games.

Orion loved his Christmas! He got and Ipod touch and an Itunes gift card from Santa, some BYU cloths, hunting clothes, mom got him a charger tie ( i drew his name) and from the family a trip to Casa Grande! We wrapped up this suit case and put his airplane ticket inside of it! He was so shocked! He will be spending New Years Eve with his best buds in Casa Grande! It was so fun to give it to him.

Titan got a 3D ds from Santa, spy stuff, Nerf gun, marshmallow gun, BYU clothes, Kick boxing training video, Corbin got him a huge pack of Pokemon cards and a chess set and from the family he got a cell phone! We wrapped it up in this huge box. We put a gift certificate for Cafe Rio inside it. After he read the certificate his phone started ringing at the bottom of the box. He was so surprised! He kept digging and then came to a smaller box that was all taped up...he was struggling to open it. It was so exciting!

He had to get out the tools to get it open! It was so fun to watch!

I got spoiled! Caden drew my name. He got me a beautiful necklace set and some ear rings. Titan made me a beautiful necklace. He has been secretly working on it for the past month. So sweet! Shay really surprised me... I got this gun! I'm going hunting this year!! We went out shooting and I nailed my targets! I also got this new super warm Columbia coat, ear rings, necklace, a beautiful bracelet, and shay got me a picture of one of the ten virgins...the picture has a lot of meaning to me. We just did a RS lesson on each one of the Virgins and what they represent. It meant a lot that he was so thoughtful in the picture he choose for me. It is so beautiful. The spirit is so strong when I look at it and reminds me to stive to be pure in heart... I love it! He is so good to me. :)

Jana drew her daddy this year. She wanted to get him a snow man! So we found a snowman ornament. She also got him a New York Yankees leather wallet. He got a new outfit from American Eagle, a Cabelas hoodie, a new hat, some awesome binoculars, and a gym membership with workout clothes, shoes and vitamins. I think he was a happy man!

Jana dressed up all day on Christmas day. She loved all her new dress up stuff! Here she is as Sleeping Beauty!

Christmas day was a blast. We opened presents, had a yummy breakfast, went to church and then came home and played with all of our new gifts. We got Mario Kart wii which was a huge hit all day! It was a nice relaxing fun day!

So this picture is a little blurry because I had to take it really fast before he saw me. I snapped this picture of Santa around 12:45am on Christmas day. I heard a noise and ran up stairs to see what it was. Corbin had put my camera on the piano just in case. Sure enough I got it! I ran back to bed and went to sleep so he could finish our stockings. I had to be pretty sneaky and we got it!

Merry Christmas everyone! We are so thankful for this wonderful holiday. We are thankful for all our friends and family. We are so thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ. We feel so very blessed to know Him.

Brag time!

Titan got to dress up for a special Colonial party at school. He looks pretty good! He is doing really well in school. He has all A's and one B. He works hard. His teacher always has great things to say about him. He loves science. He has to do one science project a month in his school. Keeps us busy but he loves it!

Orion did his science experiment on heating a room with a window covered by a plastic black sheet. He raised the temperature of our kitchen by ten degrees Fahrenheit. His science teacher picked 50 science projects out of 400 to enter into a science fair at Utah State University. He had to present his science project to the judges and tell how his project would help the community. He won first place! We are so proud of him! He is also doing really well in school. He made the high honor roll!

Caden started preschool! YAY!! Noticed that he is not wearing shoes...lol. It takes about 20 minutes to get socks and shoes on him. He doesn't like the feeling. He was diagnosed with a sensory disorder recently. He is doing much better though. At school he gets therapy and they help us with things we can do at home. He is sleeping better too! :)

This little girl is sooo girly! She loves anything pink. She walks around with a baby doll in her hand. If you ask her what Santa is going to bring her she says a "Pink Doll". She has her daddy wrap around her little finger. He told her no no today and she began to cry. She milked it. He held her and she kept saying "my daddy told me no no." She is so fun!

Corbin is still a character! He is always making us laugh. He is getting straight As. His teacher loves him. He has a ton of friends. He is so out going. He has been such a helper with Caden. He comes home from school and goes straight to Caden to play with him. It's a nice break for me! :)

I love being a mom...I have amazing kids! :)

Love this time of year!

I love Christmas time! We went to Salt Lake City for Caden's EEG appt a week ago. The Temple lights were so beautiful. We went for a carriage ride around Temple Square. The sweet Spirit around the grounds was amazing.

Everyone helped out decorating the tree. I love getting our Christmas boxes out. We always put up the ornaments and crafts the kids made. We have ornaments from 10 years ago. It brings back so many memories. I'm so glad I saved all of these crafts and ornaments that the kids made in school. They laugh and talk about their memories each year we put the tree up.

Caden loved the Nut Crackers! He played with these for days.

Caden put the Star on the top of our tree this year. We feel so very blessed that he is with us right now. Back in July he had a drowning accident. I haven't blogged about it because it still gives me anxiety. Someday I will tell the story. Heavenly Father placed a wonderful person, Chad Smith, in our path that day. Chad hadn't swam in years. He just felt like he needed to be there that day. Caden had no pulse when Chad grabbed him from the lifeguard. I know Heavenly Father sent angels that day. I feel so very blessed that we get to enjoy his sweet little laugh today. I don't take it for granted. Sometimes I will just sit and stare at him...it could have been so different. Our lives would have been so different today. My heart would have been so broken. I'm so grateful for this little boy's life. That we were given more time with him. He is such a sweet little boy. We love him so much.

I am so thankful for this time of year. I love reflecting on our Savior, Jesus Christ , and His life. I feel so blessed to know Him. I feel so blessed that I have been given a chance to have the Gospel in my life. I'm grateful that my husband invited the missionaries into our home 14 years ago. I am so grateful that my children are taught about Jesus Christ. I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to be with my family for all eternity... I am feeling so very blessed. :)

October Fun!

We have a awesome little park up dry fork canyon that we love. Its only about 15 mins away from our house. It's so beautiful up there.

It snowed! The beginning of Oct we woke up to this so Dad helped the kids build this cool snow man. It was a blast!

Jana loved the snow. I don't think she has ever seen it snow before so this was so cool for her.

My boys have all kinds of plans for this winter. They are so excited for the snow!

Jana dressed herself...look at her "cool yellow boots". I tried to tell her the boots were cute and she keeps saying "no mom, they are cool yellow boots." She is hilarious!

We have a ton of wigs in our Halloween box. Caden found this one...he looks great huh? lol

The Raiders!

Orion is getting too big. He decided to stay home this year (again) and pass out candy to the trick or treaters. He thinks he is too old. I told him to throw on a mask and go get me some candy... lol. That didn't work either.

We went to a cool pumpkin patch this year. It was at a big corn maze in Bluebell. We got to ride on a trailer behind a tractor down to the pumpkins. Orion and Titan were with their friends getting ready to go into the haunted maze. And it was freaky! I was scared to death!

Jana had a hard time deciding what to be this year. For the ward party she was a princess.

Caden had the same problem. We have tons of costumes and each year I just open the containers and let them choose. Caden was batman for the ward party.

On Halloween night, Titan was a were wolf...looks freaky huh?

We went trick or treating with my cousins Ricci and Curt and their little girl. Then we came home and ate all the candy and watched a movie. We are loving Utah...but I'm not so excited about the winter. I have been freezing cold the past few weeks. Everyone is doing great and getting big! Including me, dang candy...lol!

We have had so many fun birthdays. I have been slacking on keeping this blog updated so be prepared for a super long post!

Titan had birthday on Sep 27th! He turned 11. This is a picture of him at 4 years old. He loved playing basketball! He has always liked to play sports.

Titan at age 5. He was such a monkey!

Titan at age 3. He loved to make people laugh. He was always joking around. His favorite saying after he would tell you a joke was " Tricked you in a mile" We never found out what that meant but he knew...lol.

This is Titan's preschool graduation. He was 3 years old. What a cutie huh?

Titan loves football! The program here in Utah isn't quite as aggressive as the one in AZ but he loved it anyway. He played on the Raiders and had a blast! Their team took 3rd place.

For his birthday...of course he got football stuff. He lives and breaths football. He loves the Tennessee Titans.

Titan earned his Arrow of Light. I had the honor of removing his Cub Scout neckerchief and replacing it with a Boy Scout one. We are so proud of him for working so hard. He is so excited about all the camp outs he will get to go on.

Titan is such an amazing boy. He loves playing and watching sports. Titan played during the whole game this season. He was on defensive tackle, offensive line, and specials. He loved playing and did awesome. He is very spiritual strong and has a soft heart. He always looks for the kid who needs a friend. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He is doing really well in school, he has all A's and a B. He always does his best! We are so blessed to have him in our family. We love you Titan! Happy birthday!

Shay and I both had birthdays in Aug. I won't put our ages on here though...lol!

Corbin turned 7 on Aug 12th! He got this bike for his birthday. He is always on it. He loves the bike jumps.

Corbin is such a fun little guy. He is very active and curious. He reminds me of Dennis the Menace. Trouble follows this kid...lol. He loves to snuggle and cuddle with me though. He is a big time mama's boy and would do anything for me. He is always concerned for me. He loves the Gospel and always wants to choose the right. He is very social and has tons of friends. His teacher just told us that she is going to have him be the tutor aid in the classroom because he is so smart and finishes his work in 3 mins. She can't seem to keep him busy enough. He has straight A's. She said she knows she isn't suppose to have class favorites but Corbin has a personality that just makes him a favorite. It's so true. He is such a fun kid! We just love him soooo much!

We named Corbin Bennion after this amazing man...Grandpa Bennion. This is Corbin and Grandad in 2005. Grandad past away almost 3 years ago. He was the kindest, gentlest, most loving person in the world. We miss him so much.

Spider man came to his 6th birthday party. He did all kinds of cool tricks and flips. It was awesome!

It's hard to believe how fast the time has gone by. This was 7 years ago. What a cutie!

Orion at 5 years old. He was always goofing off! Crazy monkey... He was so much fun!

His first Pinewood Derby Car. He made it when he was 5 years old for a family pinewood derby race. He took 2nd place.

Orion turned 13 on July 23rd! WOW...he is a teenager now! He is a really good kid and always does his best. He is a good example to his brothers and little sister. He is a spiritual giant and has a very strong testimony of his Savior Jesus Christ. He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes is right. He is very musically talented. Orion is a huge blessing to this family and we feel so grateful to have him as our son. He is very helpful. He will out grow his mom for sure this year. Right now we are the same height. CRAZY! Happy Birthday Orion, We love you!

Utah Update

Jana turned 2 on July 2! She had a birthday party in Monticello.

Just seconds before he had to walk down the isle he had to go pee of course! HAHA. Good thing it was a country wedding!

Shay was the MAN! He enjoyed being a part of the wedding. Congrats Mariah and Blane!

Jana got some new Dora toys for her birthday. She loves Dora. Jana is still only 24lbs. She can sing her ABCs, twinkle, spider, popcorn, Mary, and snowman. She can count to 12 and can count to 5 in Chinese and Spanish. She is such a little talker. She loves to chat and says the funniest things. She has a high pitched voice which makes it really funny. She is a little daddy's girl. She can bat her eyes and get whatever she wants. She is a little sweetheart. We are so happy she is a part of our family! Happy Birthday!

I love that my kids can ride their bikes out front. These guys go up and down the side walk in front of our home. And the weather is SO nice!

I love my little chubby guy. Caden is so special. He is such a sweet little boy.

We had our first fish fry. Orion, Titan and Corbin caught these huge fish in Monticello while staying with their grandma and grandpa Young. We are so thankful they were able to spend the week there. T-I-M-E spells LOVE. We are so thankful that Grandma and Grandpa took time to play and help our boys have a great time. Our boys will always remember their fun time in Monticello! They got to do so many cool things. And the fish were so YUMMY!

We are loving our new area. We love the mountains and the weather. We really miss things about AZ too though. Not so much the desert or weather but the people. :) I have so much to update so come back and check on us soon!

Mother's Day

Caden thought it was my birthday today so when it was time to eat the mother's day cake we had to add a candle. He was very persistent about it!

Such a sweet little boy. He kept saying "its your birFFFday"

My boys have made Mother's day so special for me. Shay has taught them well. I got woke up at 6:25 am this morning to breakfast in bed. While Orion and Titan cleaned up the kitchen Corbin gave me a foot massage. Then they took me down stairs and showered me with gifts. They even spent their own money on me! I was surprised at how good they did. I love everything they gave me!

Titan made this at school. I love homemade gifts. It was very sweet!

Orion made this card for me and brought it home for all his brothers to sign.

Corbin made this little book for me. Reason # 8 is because I give him ice cream.

Each of the boys wrote something special to me. I really loved this card. Corbin wrote " Your the best mom I ever had" lol and Titan wrote "If I had a flower for every time I think of you I would be walking in my garden forever." So Sweet!! Orion wrote " You are a rose in a field of weeds." My boys are so good to me!

Orion gave me roses, a turquoise necklace and earring set, and a card. He did a great job picking these things out! So cute!

Corbin gave me some silver hoop earrings, the book, and some black cute earrings. He enjoyed giving them to me and I love them!

I really don't know what I would do without my two older boys. They are so good to me and they always help me out. I am so pleased with the way they are turning out. They are really good boys and respectful to their mother.

I got to church today and one of Shay's friends came up to me and pinned this on me. He said Shay had called him and asked him to pick it up for him. So sweet. What a nice surprise! I miss my hubby! He made my day. THANK YOU MY LOVE!! And then Orion gave a talk in sacrament meeting about what his mom means to him so I was bawling most of the meeting. The gifts meant a lot but what mattered most to me was the thought and time that each one of them spent to think of me and to make this day good for me. I am so blessed. I could not imagine my life any other way. I LOVE being a mom. It is the most rewarding job in the world!

Happy Mother's day to all the mothers in my life. So many women have been an influence for good in my life. I am truly grateful for good examples of patience and love. I am so grateful for amazing friends and family members. There are so many amazing women in my life and I hope their day was as good as mine. Happy Mother's Day!

WE ARE MOVING TO UTAH!

We are heading back to UTAH! This picture is of Shay at his new job last week. Doesn't he look so happy to be back in the mountains. He is a mountain boy for sure and I am a small town girl. He got a phone call from a boss he had about 6 years ago. He offered Shay a great position and we are so excited. He went up there last Monday to get started. I'm going crazy without him. We all miss him so much. We are just packing this house and trying to get it ready to rent out. We should be joining him soon! It was such a sudden thing. It happened really fast and out of no where. We have great friends here in AZ. We are going to miss them all so much. I wish I could take them with us. Some of them have been more help to our family than I can ever express. I will always be grateful to have had the experiences that I had here in AZ. But I'm happy to be leaving right at the beginning of summer...lol!! I will update you all soon!

Where have the Young's been???

Shay and I celebrated our 13th year together. We were married on Feb. 14th 1998 and sealed on Feb. 7th 2004. Feb. is a special month for our family! We went to Payson for the weekend and had so much fun. Aunt Jan came down to watch our kids so we can have the weekend to ourselves. (THANKS JAN!) The kids LOVED having her here. We stayed at the Majestic Mountain Inn. Our room was so beautiful with a fire place and jacuzzi. We spent a lot of time laughing. We went disco bowling at night. It was so fun. I wish I had my camera. We only got a few pictures on Shay's phone. I am so thankful to be married to this man. He is my best friend.

We have been so busy with the kids school projects. Titan chose to do his science experiment on how the foods we eat effect our moods.

Orion chose solar power. It was a great experiment! They both did a great job. It was a lot of work but worth it!

Caden and Jana keep everyone in our family on their toes. They are so close to each other. Caden protects her in the nursery. We have heard several funny stories about him coming to her rescue when she cries. He is a 50 pound boy so nobody messes with him or her!

Shay has been busy with the Cub Scouts. A parent made this candy trophy for him and presented it to him at Pack Meeting for all of his hard work making the program a success. He loved it!

Titan got his WeBeLos Badge! He has worked very hard. He is working on getting his Arrow of Light. He will be out of Cub Scouts in Sep. It is so weird to think that we will not have anyone in Cubs for a year. We have been in Cubs for over 5 years. Tuesday nights will be free!

CONGRATS TITAN!

Caden turned 3! He is a huge 3 year old. Weighs 52 lbs. He is solid and very tall. He was off the charts for height and weight so over the 100%. He loved blowing out his candles. I had to put candles in all his treats for the month. He loves to play super heroes. I get to be a super hero that saves him when he dies all the time. It's so funny...he will just flop down on the floor all of a sudden and say Super hero I died. That's my cue to save the day. He is so funny!

Jana is ALL girl. She loves to dress up. She always says I'M BEAUTIFUL! She loves to talk. She can carry on a conversation better than I can.

Titan played Spring football this year. He was on the Cyclones team. He played defensive end and offensive tackle. He played for the entire game every Sat.. He is awesome. He had some great tackles!

Shay let me sleep in Conference Sunday. When conference was getting ready to start he came and woke me up. I came out to the living room and discovered our tent. We have been talking a lot about King Benjamin and how the people pitched their tents and sat and listened. The kids really enjoyed the tent. It made conference even better!

We love to play out back in our yard. We have a trampoline and a tether ball so we do a lot of wrestling matches on the tramp and tether ball tournaments. Our kids have so much fun together.

Orion is the best big brother. He loves to play with his little brother and sister. He helps me out so much with them. I am so grateful to have such a responsible, loving son. He really is amazing. Jana whooped him at tether ball though!

Easter Sunday morning.

Jana had just gotten out of the bath so daddy was helping her look through her basket.

It was spirit week at school. This day was red, white and blue day. Corbin loved it! He said everyone is going to want to sit by me at lunch! LOL

Career day. Corbin is a police officer. Orion wants to be in the Military and Titan is going to be a NFL football player.

So this is all I could come up with for 80's day. What did boys wear in the 80's? Oh well they all loved it!

So this is where we have been for the past few months. Sorry I have been slacking with the updates. I really haven't had time to sit and blog. At least I am still taking pictures though! It has been busy but fun! I am going to do better about keeping you all updated. We are all doing great!

Our Crazy January!

HAHA! I love this picture...but can you believe that not one of my kids got these blue eyes! Shay has been crazy busy at work. His schedule has been changing... night shift, day shift, late night ect. Its been crazy. He is such a hard worker. We are so thankful for him!

We made this cake for the Superbowl along with TONS of other treats! We had a great time...GO GREEN BAY!

Here is my little Willy Wonka. He wore this hat all night. He is such a little angel. He is sleeping better now too....which has made me sooo happy!

Jana and I had her first trip to the Salon. She had her first hair cut. She looks so beautiful! It was so fun getting our hair done together.

Titan took 1st in his division in the Pinewood Derby and 2nd over all. He built his car completely on his own. We were so proud of him!

Titan had to do a presentation book report and dress up like a character from the book. He read Charlie and the Chocolate factory and dressed up like Willy Wonka. We made his hat and golden ticket. I found his jacket at a 2nd hand store. It was so perfect! He did a great job!

Corbin LOVES to take pictures of himself. I love finding the pictures! Little stinker!

Jana broke her arm. She fell off of Orion's loft bed and broke one bone and bent another. Poor girl. It hasn't slowed her down at all though. She is a tough little girl!

Here we are at the Doctors getting ready to get her cast off. YEA! No more sponge baths! 6 weeks went by really fast.

They took X-rays and said there is still a small fracture and the bent bone will take about 12 months to heal. But we don't need the cast anymore. We just have to be a little cautious. She wants to keep up with her brothers so that's kinda hard to do!

We are doing really good. It has been busy around our house but we have had lots of fun!

Christmas 2010

Santa brought Corbin a Leapster and 3 games. Titan and Corbin also got a tether ball set. They both love to play it at school now they got one at home!

Jana and Caden got this horse.

We got the kids a trampoline. Here they are sitting on the box. We set it up later that day and they have not stopped jumping!

Shay got this tool chest from Santa. He has been wanting one for a long time now. I didn't take a picture of myself but Shay got me golf clubs. He is going to start giving me lessons soon! Santa brought me a pair of black boots and a pair of brown boots. They are so cute!

Orion got a cell phone FINALLY!!! He is really excited. Shay wrapped it up in 3 different boxes. The final box he wrapped with tape over and over. While Orion was trying to get the tape off, Shay started calling the phone. The box was ringing and Orion started freaking out. It was so cool!

Titan got this spy gear video tracker. It is really cool. It has a little screen on the remote and on the tank it has a video camera. You can even hear what people are saying too. It has GPS so you can control it from whatever room you are in and go all over the house. He loves it!

Caden got this new train set. He plays with it everyday!

Early Christmas morning!

We had such a great time together. It was nice to have everyone home for a few days too. We enjoyed playing with all our new toys. I am still trying to put our house back together. Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas. Now it's time for a new year. Here we go...Happy New Year!

Las Vegas Trip

We went to Vegas for Thanksgiving. Titan's football team played in the National Championship.
We spent Thanksgiving with Shay's brother Craig and my brother Shon and their families. It was so much fun!

Catching up!!

These are pictures from Oct. I am trying to catch up! We went on a little family vacation. We stayed at the Point Resort in Phoenix for a night. It had a really fun water park with a mini golf course too. We had so much fun. This picture is Corbin coming down the slide.

Miss Jana and her Daddy. In Oct. in Phoenix it is still about 95-100 degrees. It was so nice to get out a swim all day.

They had a cool little waterfall. The boys loved playing in it.

Here is our King Benjamin tent. We set up a "tent" every General conference. It is a nice way to get the kids to sit a listen.

The month of Oct was filled with sports. Titans team wore pink socks to raise breast cancer awareness. I was proud of those boys. They got made fun of a few times by the other teams and whooped every one of them! They weren't laughing at them at the end of the games! LOL

Corbin played soccer this year. The coach says he is the most aggressive player he has ever seen. He always had the ball and made all the goals. If you look close at his face you can see the determination. He is so cute!

Orion played flag football for his middle school, The Legacy Eagles. He was wide receiver. Here he is going for the pass. HE did a great job. He practiced everyday for 2 hours. We are so proud of him!

Oct was a very busy month. We had lots going on with sports. Running to practices everyday and then games on Weds, Thurs, and Saturdays. We really enjoyed it all though. They all did so good. I will post Nov. "catching up" pictures in the next few days. Football season is over and I finally have time to work on the blog!

Titan had another great game! Orion got to help out on the side lines this game.

Look at how soaked he is! The games are 2 hours long and he is constantly blocking and running. He gives his all at every game and practice. He is in good physical shape! The practices are 2 hours long as well. Two hours of up downs, running, mountain climbers, the bear crawl, ect. I wouldn't last 30 minutes!

Titan turned 10! I made him a pancake breakfast before school. After school he choose KFC for dinner and then we had a family party for him!

Titan is such a blessing to our family. He has a big heart. He always pushes himself to do better. He is a friend to everyone. He is a great example to those around him. He loves playing football and about any other sport too. He attends a school that is really challenging. They are 1-2 grades harder than normal public schools and he is doing so good! We are proud of the young man he is becoming. When his coaches or teachers talk about him they always use the word determined. He is determined to do his very best. He is amazing! Happy birthday Titan! We love you!

Titan is doing so good in football. Their team is doing really good. We will be playing in the Cyclone Championship in Las Vegas Thanksgiving Day and weekend. We are so excited for these boys. They all play so hard. At this game they beat this team 50 - 0. They are such a great team! GO SCORCHERS!

1st Day of School and My Babies!

Wow! Summer went by too fast. I enjoyed having the kids home. Orion is in Jr High this year, 7th grade. He is doing really well. He is playing football for the school team. His position is wide receiver! We are so proud of him! Titan is in 4th grade this year and the tallest 4th grader ever. lol. He is playing football with a Cyclone league this year. He is on the offensive line. He is doing awesome too! Corbin is in 1st grade and has already won the teacher's heart! He is a little smarty. He is playing soccer and doing a great job! They all work hard and I know it will be another successful year!

It's just me and my sweet babies now. Caden has had to do 3 EEG's so far this summer. He was diagnosed with Epilepsy in June. He still doesn't sleep even with his medication so we are currently doing more studies to find out why. He is such a trooper. He is a happy little guy most of the time. Busy but happy!

Jana is a doll. She has a shoe obsession. She brings me shoes all day long and I am constantly changing them for her. Most of the time they are two different ones. ( might have to work on her style a little) She is so girly. I LOVE IT!

Caden and Jana are becoming best friends. They love being around each other...most of the time. They are finally starting to play really good together. They also get into stuff together which means twice the mess to clean up. I am so happy they have each other!

Corbin turned 6!

We had cake at home and went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate his big day! He had a blast!

He is so GOOFY! Just like dad!

I loved watching all of them dance. They were on all the screens. It was hilarious!

Corbin is my little man. He is so considerate and is always looking out for me. His teacher writes a progress note home each week and she said he is one of the most considerate students she has ever had. He is always trying his best at everything he does. Right now he is playing soccer and giving it his all. He is a good brother and friend. He loves to joke around and play pranks. He brings so much joy to our family! Happy Birthday Corbin!

We had a family party for the boys. Orion got this lantern from grandma and grandpa. He is so excited to use it! He goes camping once a month with the scouts.

It was also my birthday in Aug. I came home from church to this. My parents decorated my yard with these BIG candles and a sign that says happy birthday. It was so sweet! I didn't get pictures of my party, but Shay and the kids gave me a yummy chocolate cake. Shay had taken me out to Olive Garden and shopping the night before. It was a great birthday! Orion had to give a talk that day in Sacrament meeting. He mentioned to everyone that it was my 23rd birthday. He is such a sweet kid! Happy 23rd birthday to me! lol

Our little princess turned 1 on July 2nd! Jana is an angel. She is a girly girl! Her new favorite thing is shoes. She constantly brings them to me and then sticks her foot in the air. She loves dolls. She has a very sweet personality. Sometimes she just runs to me and hugs me and then walks away. She is shy with strangers. She will hide behind my legs and peek out and look at them. She brings so much joy to our family. We are so thankful to have her!

Orion turned 12! He is so amazing. I'm not sure what I would do with out him. He helps me out so much! He received the Aronic Priesthood and past the sacrament for the first time 2 weeks ago. He attended his first Stake Priesthood meeting last night. Last week we got a call from the Stake Presidency asking if he could give the opening prayer for this meeting. He wasn't even nervous. He studied all day about the Priesthood so he'd be more prepared. I'm so thankful that he is the oldest boy in our family. He is an amazing example and a good person. He is always a friend to those who need one. He has a special gift in making people feel welcomed and loved. He is very obedient and loves to serve. What a outstanding young man he is becoming!

Happy birthday love! Shay has been working so hard lately... I was so happy he had his birthday off. He is a great example to our boys. They have learned to work hard for things they want because of him. His little princess has him wrapped around her fingers. She loves to be around him, as most people do... He has a great sense of humor. We were able to make his favorite dinner, crab and mashed potatoes. And then chocolate cake!

Family Vacation!

Get comfortable! I know long post are sometimes annoying but I took over 1000 pictures and it was so hard to narrow down the ones I wanted to put on here. We went to several different places in California. I didn't post all 1000 pictures but I did post a ton. I think they are all super cute!

The first place we went is Disneyland. We used our give a day get a day free tickets! It was so much fun!

We had so much fun! This was one of the funnest reunions ever. Camping, mountains, creeks, mud, baseball, horseshoes, awesome food, family, smores, deer, trees, games, and so so much more...how could we come back home! I can't wait until next year. I really have an amazing extended family. I love that we can all laugh and have fun together. Nobody is stressed...everyone is just enjoying all the kids, laughter, food, fun, ect. That is the way it should be! What a blast!

We took the boys out of school at noon and went to the Gila Valley Temple open house. It was so beautiful! A long drive but worth it!

Jana Is Walking!

On April 27th Jana took her first steps! She walked to everyone in the room. All her brothers were cheering her on. She kept laughing and screaming. She was so proud of herself! She is so much fun. She just went to her 9 month check up. She is 22 lbs. She is smaller than the boys, but still in the 95%. She was only in the 50% for height. Short and chubby! She can say Dad-T(with a sharp T sound),Charger(our dog), Mama, Jesus, baby, and she mocks all kinds of noises. She is the BIGGEST daddy's girl I have ever seen. She loves him so much. She lights up when he walks into the room. (He lights up too.) She really brings so much to our family. She is a special little girl!

We went to the Pinal county fair in March. This was Caden's first trip to the fair. He had a blast!

We went up to the Temple last Monday for FHE. It was so nice. The children love the Temple grounds.

We have been having a ton of fun. I have so much more to post, but will have to do it another day! The kids are getting so big so fast. They keep us super busy! Orion is doing really good in Scouts. He is almost 12 and will be in YMs. I can't believe it! Titan is playing football this year and has been busy getting into shape. Corbin reads and is still on Honor roll! He does so good in school. Caden is our busy little 2 year old. I feel like I just follow him around all day and clean up his messes! He is so sweet though. Jana is all over the place too. She is such a daddy's girl! She is a little angel. We are all doing good! Hopefully I won't let 6 weeks go by before blogging again! Sorry for the long post. Hope you all enjoyed it!

March Madness

What a busy month so far! Here we are making our blankets for the Disneyland "Give a Day Get a Day" It was such a neat experience.

We signed up to make blankets for homeless or sick children. We read stories about children who received blankets in the passed and how it made them feel. The kids were more excited about who was going to be getting these blankets than going to Disneyland. It was so much fun!

Orion's science experiment. Whew... Lots of work! Orion chose to shoot different kinds of liquids into the air with these homemade rockets and see which liquid goes the highest.

It was so messy but all the boys enjoyed it!

Total Daddy's girl! She wants him over me which has never happened with our kids. I must say sometimes it makes me want to cry!

Here she is trapped.

Jana had her tear duct surgery on Friday the 12th. She did so good. Orion gave her this little stuffed animal to take with her into surgery. She held onto it the whole time.

That night Daddy brought her home a rose.

She just wanted to eat it. She loved tearing it apart!

Caden turned 2 on March 2nd. We had a little party for him on his birthday. He was so sick but still had a ton of fun. He enjoys being the center of attention.

Caden is such a cute little boy. He is full of energy! He loves to play with his brothers. He sings songs all day. Some of his favorite are Once there was a Snowman, Jingle Bells, ABC, Popcorn Popping, and Twinkle little star. He loves to play trucks and any kind of sport. If the boys are playing football or baseball he wants to be out there too. He loves to be outside. He has never sat and watched a TV show. ( I wish he would) I guess he is too busy for TV. His favorite saying right now is "I did it!" He loves to give hugs and kisses. At his last doc visit he was 37 pounds. He was in the 95% for height and weight. BIG boy! He brings so much joy into our home. I am so happy to be his Mommy. Happy Birthday Caden!

We have had a busy March so far. Caden's birthday was the highlight of our month so far. He is growing so fast. Jana's surgery went perfect and we couldn't ask for more. February Happenings

Shay and I celebrated our 12th year anniversary on the 14th!

Wow! Can't believe how fast 12 years has gone by! We have enjoyed the past 12 years and will enjoy many many more years together!

Corbin was Student of the week. He got to take Eddie the Eagle home with him for the week.

Jana escaped out of the house. Anytime we leave the back door open she scoots her way out and into the grass.

The kids are popping popcorn. They had so much fun with their cousins. Wish we all lived closer!

Jana has this new thing she has been doing with her tongue lately. She loves to stick it out. She liked hanging out with uncle Craig!

Grandma Dixie made this dress for Jana. She looked so pretty in it!

We had the Pinewood Derby on the 21st. It was a blast! Titan took first. His car was named the stinger! He did a good job!

Jana loves her puppy! Charger is so good with her.

She is starting to rock.She is not crawling yet but she scoots all over the place and gets into everything!

Caden loves her. He is so sweet to her. I think they will be close. He is giving her kisses in this picture. He calls her Janny.

I can't believe my baby is 7 months old! She is such a sweet little girl. She is always smiling. She loves attention. When I take her to the store she will bat her eyes and smile at everyone. She gets tons of attention! She says DaDa. She loves daddy. I think Daddy is wrapped around her little fingers. She loves all her brothers too. They are all so good to her. Her favorite food is banana and apples mixed. She is a good little eater! She has the sweetest personality. She brings so much joy into our home!

Caden thought it was too early! The kids let us sleep until 6:45. It was kinda nice. Shay didn't sleep at all during the night though. He was too excited!

Christmas morning. The boys are ready to go! Jana is still getting her beauty sleep.

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. We sure did! I feel so very blessed to have such a wonderful family. We enjoyed Christmas Eve. We went Christmas caroling and looked at Christmas lights. Then we came home and opened our Christmas Eve gift, (PJs!) made some cookies for Santa and read the first Christmas story in Luke. On Christmas morning we decided to do things different this year. We opened one gift at a time and gave hugs and thank yous. It was really a great morning! I love Christmas. Can't wait until next year!

I wanted to post this float. I loved it! It had a solider in the front getting warm by the trash can fire and on the other side of the wall was his family at home sitting in front of their tree. It was such a touching float. I am so thankful to the people who serve this country. Most of them are away from their families right now and their families are at home missing them.

Santa came to our family party at our house on Thursday! He brought presents for all the kids!

He told me I was going to be placed on the naughty list if I didn't start taking better care of my blog!

Titan asked for a game for the WII. Hope Santa can find it!

Corbin changed his mind on some of the things he wanted and he asked for a remote control boat. I quickly reminded him that he really wants a game boy!

Lucky for him Santa already knew what he wanted and has his things ready. Whew... thanks Santa!

Orion is NOT too old to sit on Santa's lap!

Poor Caden. He didn't want anything to do with Santa! He even tried to give back the present Santa handed him.

Jana just wanted to eat him. She got a hold of his beard! Ouch!

We went to the light parade a few weeks ago. It was amazing. I think there was 98 floats. There could have been more but that's what we counted.

It was so beautiful!

The boys had a blast. It was actually pretty cold that night. We had to get out the coats! I hope you all are enjoying this Christmas time. I love the month of Dec. People seem to be more friendly and there is a peaceful spirit in the air. Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving Family Vacation

We went to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving this year!

The kids had so much fun!

Shon, Cristina and their new baby Alexa. She was born Nov. 20th. She is so sweet!

We decided to go to St. George for a couple of days. Shay's grandparents own a condo there.

We got to visit Brigham Young's home. It was so neat to take the kids this time. They had so many questions.

The leaves were so beautiful!

Here is the condo. His grandparents are never there so we had the whole thing to ourselves!

At the resort there is racket ball, heated pool, mini golf, shuffle board, arcade, basketball courts, parks, and tennis courts. As you can see we had a blast and it was all FREE!!

While we were playing shuffle board Caden thought he would go for a swim! Jumped right into the pool! Little stinker!

Poor Corbin didn't win!

While we were there we visited the Temple. It was so beautiful! We also got to visit with a good friend of ours . Bro. Mathews. He taught us the Temple prep classes in Colorado. It was so good to see him again!

In Vegas we stayed at Shay's brother Craig's house.

Poor Jana! Caden thinks when anyone gets on their belly he needs to ride them!

The Christmas Dress

Jana got this dress all on her own. We went to JC Pennys to pick up her pictures. Orion was holding up a few different dresses in front of her and she would giggle and kick her legs when he held up this red dress. There was an old grandpa man watching and laughing when she would do it. We had to get going so I told Orion to put the dresses back. The old man said "no don't put it back she really likes this dress. She has to have this dress" I told him the dress cost way to much and we went on our way. Well the old man bought the dress for Jana! He gave it to me and said "She LOVES this dress! Merry Christmas!" I couldn't believe how sweet this man was to us. So giving and thoughtful. It reminded me of Grandpa Bennion. This dress will always have a special meaning to us. Thank you whoever you are! Jana loves this Dress!

So I wanted to take a nice picture of my kids for a Christmas card. I told them all to give me a good smile...and this is what I get. Stinkin boys!! They all were laughing and having a good time making cheesy grins for the camera but Mom was getting a little ticked! Never got my nice picture either!

Jana is such a sweet little girl. She never cries and is always so happy! She loves to be cuddled. We just started feeding her carrots and she loves them. She is a good little eater! I took her to the doc yesterday and she weighs 15.9 lbs. She is quite a bit smaller than my boys. (Caden was 22 lbs at 6 months) Although she looks so chunky to me! She brings so much joy to our family. She loves her brothers. When they enter the room she will start smiling and kicking her legs. Her brothers are a little goofy and she is constantly laughing at them! Her Daddy holds a special spot in her heart. She watches him every where he goes. If he walks by her without picking her up she will whimper and he will immediately turn and pick her up. She is my little angel. We all love having little Jana in our family!

A New Member of the Young family!!

This is Charger our new Shih Tzu puppy! My camera is on some weird setting so the pictures aren't very good. I need to sit down and figure out what buttons I pushed!

We wrapped him up and put him under the tree for an early present for the kids.

So We decided to get the boys a puppy for Christmas, but we had to give it to them early because he was ready to come home and needs to be potty trained. Shay's friend had puppies for sale and gave us a super good deal on this little guy. We bought him back in Oct. and kept it a secret from the boys until he was ready to come home. On Monday night we decorated the tree and Shay pretended to go get more lights for the tree. I took the boys up stairs while he wrapped Charger in a box and put him under our newly decorated tree. Shay called the boys down and Charger started barking. The boys went over to the box, very confused, and stood there looking at it. Shay told them that was their Christmas present from Mom and Dad. They opened it and were so EXCITED! They were jumping up and down and hugging us. They love him! We have never had a dog so this is all new for us. He is such a good little puppy. We are loving it!

Scary! Corbin wanted to be something super scary. We found this mask in our garage. It was one of Shay's from a long time ago. He looked great!

Orion Looked awesome in his vampire slayer costume. And Titan looked freaky in his werewolf costume!

Everyone tells us he looks like Yoda. I found this costume on sale at Walgreen's and I had a coupon for $5 off. It was too perfect!! He made the cutest little Yoda ever!

We had a great time Halloween night. We went to the Trunk N Treat then around our neighborhood. One of our neighbors did a haunted house in their back yard. It was awesome. The boys loved it! Except for Caden he was freaked out. Overall we got a ton of candy to ruin our teeth and had a great time on this pointless holiday.( I'm not a huge fan of Halloween, sorry) It was fun though!
