Our Wedding day!

14 years ago on Valentines day, Feb 14th, Shay and I were married in a small LDS Church in Sweetwater, Texas.

I was so nervous that day but I knew Shay and I were going to be so happy together.

My beautiful dress! The photographer that was taking picture of us was going to make us a wedding video and accidentally erased all of our wedding pictures so all we had were the ones that our family members took. I was glad others took pictures!

Shay and I have been married for 14 years now. I can honestly say I wouldn't change a thing. We have had so many challenges along the way but they have made us stronger and closer. I love the way he makes me laugh and his soft heart. He is a romantic guy and is always surprising me with flowers or little gifts and notes. We still hold hands and date every Friday night. We are best friends. I love being married to this man. I know we will have many more obstacles in our path as we move on into the future but I also know as long as I have him beside me I will make it through just fine. He is my strength. I love him more than words can express.

Sealing Anniversary

Feb 7, 2004 we were sealed for time and all eternity in the Monticello, Utah Temple.

I can still remember when they brought our two little boys into the room. The Spirit was so sweet and so strong. I was kneeling across the alter from my husband, both of us with tears in our eyes. We were sealed as husband and wife forever...our feelings of love were so strong in that moment... As soon as the boys entered the room we began to bawl! Pure and innocent all dressed in white. So amazing.

Me and my sweet husband. He adores me and I am so thankful to be married to a man who loves and cherishes me as much as I love and cherish him.

I have so much gratitude in my heart for the blessings of the Temple. That I have an opportunity to be with this man and my children for all eternity. Shay is my best friend. We have a very special connection and I have no doubt that we were made to be together. I love him so much and I know he loves me. We are so blessed to have each other forever and ever!
