Thanksgiving

This is our mad little Indian!

Corbin is our CRAZY Indian!
All our little Indians!

This is our Charger fan Indian!

Our sweet baby !
We have a tradition, every Thanksgiving , to make Indian vest and hats out of paper bags. We have done it for years. Every Thanksgiving the kids will ask "When do we get to make our vest." After they make their vest and hats they run around making Indian sounds. It is so much fun!
There are so many things I am thankful for. I love my family. I have read Pres. Monson's talk on finding joy in the journey over and over. I love it! I have been looking for all the little things that bring me joy. My children bring so much joy. I know our time with them is not long and so I am not going to stress about the little marks on the walls or the piles of laundry I have to fold, but I am just going to find all the joy I can while I have these sweet little children in my home. I am going to cherish every day with them and with my husband. I am also so very thankful for Shay. He is such a fun Daddy. He is my best friend, I couldn't live without him. I blessed to know I have a Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for Him. I have been blessed beyond what I ever could have imagined.

Bath time!

Caden loves bath time. During the day he will crawl into my bathroom and start pounding on the tub. He stands there and smiles at me. How can I resist? So... he usually takes a few baths a day. He loves it. Today he was standing there saying ba. I guess that means bath. He is growing up way to fast!!! He is 8 months now and every day he gets sweeter. He loves to cuddle. He would sit all day in my lap and hug me if I let him. Some days I wish I had time to just let him do that!

Grandpa Bennion

Shay, Caden, and Grandpa
Shay and his special Grandpa

Corbin Bennion and Grandpa Bennion

Grandpa Bennion is a very special person. He is always serving others. When he used to walk to work you would often see him picking up trash off the roads. He has been a great influence in Shay's life. Shay loves this man more than words can say. He is a great example to everyone around him. He has the best sense of humor. I love to be around him. I laugh most of the time. He is always walking up behind someone and scaring the heck out of them!!The picture above is just a few of the grand kids named after him, there are many more. Shay is visiting him this weekend in Monticello, Utah. This trip means a lot to Shay. When Shay is here in AZ he talks every day about Grandpa and talks to him every night. What a special guy he is. Shay was so blessed to have Grandpa Bennion as his Grandpa! WE MISS YOU GRANDPA!

Softball Season is Over

I told him he needed to pose for me!

I know....... we are always kissing.

We are so sad the season is over. This is what we do every Thursday night. Shay's team ranked 4th out of 16 teams. They rocked this season! They start again in Jan. Orion and Titan's first game is next Sat. They are on a winter Little League team. I'll post pics next week!

Cub Scouts

We love Cub Scouts! Orion earned 2 pins on his webelos badge and Titan earned his Bob Cat. We had a Pack family camp out a few weeks ago. It was so much fun. I got to paint Titan's face for his Bob Cat. We got all dirty and ate smores. Shay told some funny camp stories around the fire. The scouts played night games until 1:00 am. It was a blast! I love having BOYS!

Happy Halloween!

Caden was a skunk. Little stinker!
Scary huh?

Vampire boy.

Caden's skunk outfit had a heart on the bum that said "Lil Stinker"

This is our skeleton knight.

Batman to the rescue!

Look at this handsome guy.... Hot!

We had fun Halloween night. We got tons of candy. I hate having chocolate in the house..... all I want to do is sit around and eat it all day. I told my kids to hurry and eat all the chocolate they could. It's been two days and they still have tons. The boys were so cute in their costumes. It is still real hot down here. We started around 5:30 and it was 90 degrees. Poor boys..... They don't make costumes for AZ. We all had a good time anyway.
